Each channel can be individually addressed/controlled in the process. Examples include:

• small beams with larger beams pre-heating or controlling heat in a zone around the small beam.

• Multi-wavelength sources to deal with broad material types, and to help with process control

Each laser module is individually controlled allowing:

• Better reliability, if one module fails it can be deactivated.

• More power in band, for wavelength sensitive applications, each module reaches optimal wavelength before additional modules are enabled.

• Multiple outputs, systems with <14x fiber outputs with each channel individually addressable.
